What isimportant?

How do we decide what to do? How do we know what we know? How do we experience? What is consciousness? Is it working for you?

Across our lives, these questions may be asked and answered in different and developing ways.It is about the structure of life, the life that we generate and the life that is generated for us. Does this sound vague, vapid, useless, important or confusing? Ok, tell me why.

We value life. Most of us have a fundamental impulse to live. While we may not choose to live at any cost, a commitment to value life is fundamental to everything. As intelligent animals, consciousness may be the pinnacle of life that we have reached. While most of our life, including consciousness, could be viewed as predetermined by causes outside our consciousness, what we call awareness, ability to reason and everything about this website is based on a foundation of consciousness.

How do we do that? How can we do it better? What is happening to us? What are we learning? How are we responding? What can we do about it?

Here is where we will review the best thinking, revelation or science on the matter.

Science is a deep exploration of our experience. Unless a belief can be validated by a system outside our own experience, we will not consider it “True”. You can believe all or anything you want, and if it’s not hurting you or anyone else, we are ok with that. But the purpose of MacroConscious.org is to determine what helps us as conscious individuals, as community, and as biosphere. For that we give higher priority to beliefs that can be established as “True”.
